God's gift of salvation is available to everyone. Whether you are beginning to explore the Christian faith, have questions about what the Bible teaches, or want to know how you can be saved, God's Word provides a clear answer filled with hope.

You do not need to earn salvation, make yourself worthy, or repair your life before coming to God. Salvation is a free gift made possible through Jesus Christ and received by grace through faith.

The Gospel

The Good News of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He came down from heaven, was born of a virgin through the Holy Ghost, and lived a perfect and sinless life. Although He had done no wrong, Jesus was rejected, beaten, crucified, and put to death upon a cross. He was buried in a tomb, but three days later, He rose bodily from the dead.

After His resurrection, Jesus spent forty days showing Himself alive and teaching His followers before ascending into heaven. His resurrection demonstrated His victory over sin and death and confirmed that He is the promised Savior.

Through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross and resurrection from the grave, God offers us forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with Him, and eternal life in heaven.

How Can I Be Saved?

Recognize That You Are a Sinner

Every person has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God and brings judgment and death. No amount of good works, religious activity, or personal effort can remove our guilt.

Believe What Jesus Christ Has Done

Jesus willingly took the punishment for our sins when He died on the cross. He was buried and rose again three days later. Believe that He died for you, that God raised Him from the dead, and that He alone can save you.

Trust Jesus Christ as Your Savior

Place your complete trust in Jesus Christ—not in good works, a church, a religious ceremony, or your own ability. Receive God's gift by faith, confess Jesus as Lord, and call upon His name.

The Romans Road to Salvation

The Romans Road to Salvation brings together an important sequence of verses from the book of Romans that clearly and powerfully explains the Gospel. These passages describe humanity's sin and its consequences, reveal God's love through Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection three days later, and show how anyone who believes, confesses Jesus as Lord and Savior, and calls upon His name can be saved.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Call Upon the Lord

There is no special ceremony or carefully worded prayer that earns salvation. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ. You can speak to God honestly, acknowledge that you are a sinner, tell Him that you believe Jesus died and rose again, and place your trust in Jesus Christ alone as your Lord and Savior.
